I'm taking advantage of the almost 80 degree weekend coming up to post a couple more archived looks from a slightly warmer time. Also, can we just appreciate the awesome fact that being old enough to see trends come around a second time means that you can find on-trend flared jeans for almost nothing secondhand? Hear hear for the second time around!
Outfit Details:

Jeans: GAP, thrifted, $5
Shoes: Converse, thrifted, $6

Also, not only does thrifting open up secondhand trends, but you also get the opportunity to rip up and embellish stuff in order to make yourself a more cost-effective version of some trending denim:

Look, frayed hems! |
Little shopping tip, by the way: I got these Adidas Gazelles as a present to myself after meeting some commission goals at work. BUT, because I just can't bear to pay full price for most things, I decided to purchase the Big Kid's size 6 sneakers (instead of my usual size 8's), since the Big Kid's version was $40 cheaper! Of course, this doesn't work on all shoes, but on certain styles like sneakers, it's worth checking out!
Blue Top: Wal-Mart, $1 (clearance)
Olive Top: Target, $3 (clearance)
Jeans: free via clothing swap, $2 patches, DIY hems
Necklace: gifted and handmade
Earrings: gifted
Shoes: Adidas Gazelle's, $45
Grand Total: $51
