OOTD - One Big Outtake

Some days, I love the way my outfit photos turn out.  I sit down to edit, and have trouble picking just the right photos to share.  Today, however, is NOT that day!  This is one of those "I liked this outfit, but the photos just didn't turn out like I'd hoped" type of posts!  There's so many great examples of outtake photos, like this one, the "there's something under my nails" pose:

Weekend Shopping Trip!

Well, apparently Goodwill is having a HUGE anniversary sale, and didn't tell me about it.  (RUDE)  I'm totally kidding, ya'll.  But, seriously, Big A and I were out running errands yesterday and I decided to just *stop by* Goodwill on the way home.  And then I saw this:

YA'LL!  My poor child had to follow me around as I frantically scoured the racks for these amazing 90 cent deals, as I continuously went, "okay, almost done, OH WAIT I DIDN'T LOOK AT DRESSES YET!"  Eventually, much to my oldest child's relief, I headed home with these finds:

Today's outfit post is brought to you by: lovely co-workers who are also impromptu photographers!  I'm so happy to have found a job where I get the chance to work with 4 other lovely ladies, who have helped make the transition back into full-time so much better. I also get a better backdrop for my pictures.  Not that my apartment landing wasn't great, but it's nice to have a change!

Life Lately

Greetings and salutations, old friends!  I bet you thought I'd forgotten about this little blog, but don't worry!  It just got put on the back burner for a while, as our family adjusted to some big changes.  Between working out school schedules, figuring out job stuff, and focusing on our little family group for a while, there hasn't been a lot of down time in the Holt house.  (...in our houseHolt...? ha!)
